The art and artifacts of our lives tell stories of all sizes and shapes. We are often given these things as gifts or chose them to decorate, bringing color to our lives.
A remembrance of someone who has left us, through death or relocation, or a time of life that is past never to return is a more delicate challenge.
The shadowbox piece in the photograph is a commemoration of two lives ended too young. The biological family as well as the spiritual family of the individuals wanted to remember their passing with an artifact of water from one of their favorite places of peace and comfort. The water was blessed and became Holy Water as a tribute to two beloved people.
This piece was completed by Chandler Designs circa 1996.
